Math Specialist Institute - April 2, 2016
The Math Specialist Institute will be an opportunity for school-based math leaders to learn more about aspects of their role and network with other leaders to improve their work in schools with elementary and middle school teachers and students. The Institute will include panel sessions and discussion groups led by math coaches, specialists and resource teachers on topics such as:
- Leading professional learning communities
- Coaching teachers individually
- Working with principals
- Leading professional development for teachers

9:00 am-3:30 pm (check in starts at 8:15)

Registration:
Registration is now open. To register, please click the registration tab to the right. There is a registration fee of $25 (including lunch and parking) payable online by March 31, 2016.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Francis (Skip) Fennell
The Key Note Speaker for the 2016 Math Specialist Institute is Dr. Francis (Skip) Fennell of McDaniel College. Detailed information on both his work in mathematics education and his vast accomplishments are located in the Key Note Speaker tab to the right.

Occoquan Building, Verizon Auditorium on the Science and Technology Campus of George Mason University.
Parking:
